This public service will already be available this year. This innovation will be realized within the framework of introduction and development of information technologies in the system of Compulsory social health insurance (hereinafter – CSHI). It is planned that the service will be available on the e-government portal for citizens and in Public service centers. Every citizen will be able to track the payments for the Compulsory social health insurance system.
Also, in 2018, the Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF) plans to improve the technology that provides the state electronic service by attaching citizens to polyclinics.
"This work is carried out by the Fund within the framework of the instructions of the President of Kazakhstan given in State of the Nation Address in 2018, regarding "ensuring accessibility and effectiveness of medical assistance through the development of information systems," said Nurbybek Kabdykaparov, branch director of SHIF JSC .
As a result of the adherence campaign, Astana medical organizations currently serve more than a million people. From January 1 the Fund acts as a single operator for the allocation of public funds aimed at providing a guaranteed volume of free medical care for the population. Kazakhstanis and foreigners permanently residing in the territory of Kazakhstan can use the right of free attachment without restrictions. Previously, it was possible to implement only once in six months, or as part of an adherence campaign.
